This 18 year old boy fell while skateboarding.
His two front teeth were fractured and had to be extracted.
2 implants were placed and the implant crowns were fitted 3 months after. He also had bleaching done for his teeth.

This patient cracked her upper premolar after biting on a popcorn kernal. She had inadequate amount of bone for implant placement and underwent a simultaneous bone grafting and implant placement. The surgery was done under local anesthetic and took 45 min 5 months later, the final crown was fitted.

Case Study 4
This 42 year old patient had impacted canines which failed to erupt. The baby canine tooth began to loosen and she requested to have an implant to replace it. The impacted canine was removed, the implant placed and a bone grafting procedure was done on the same visit. The procedure took 40 min. The implant crown was restored 5 months later, after osseointegration was complete.

Case Study 5
This 38 year old patient was involved in a car accident when she was 14 years old. The 4 front teeth were smashed and she had to remove them. Subsequently, she had a 6 unit bridge to replace the missing teeth. She presented with decay under her bridge which was so extensive that the teeth could not be saved. She then opted for implants to replaced her missing 4 teeth. Treatment involved bone grafting as there was substantial bone loss after 24 years of bone loss. Treatment time took 8 months from start to completion.

Case Study 6
This patient broke his upper left lateral incisor. The remaining root was removed and an implant placed immediately. A temporary crown was fabricated for him. This will be in place for 3 months following bone healing, where a permanent crown will be fitted on.
