Dr Arthur Lim

Dr. Arthur Lim graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree from the National University of Singapore in 1998. Thereafter, he was awarded a scholarship to the 3 year orthodontic programme and obtained a Masters degree in Orthodontics. He was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh after completion of his specialist training and is also on the Singapore Dental Council Specialist Register and the Academy of Medicine Roll of Specialists. He is currently Visiting Consultant at Raffles Hospital and an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the National University of Singapore. He is actively involved with the coordination of the undergraduate orthodontic teaching programme and in the training of postgraduate orthodontic students.

Dr Arthur Lim has held major leadership roles in the Executive Committee of the Association of Orthodontists (Singapore) and is currently serving as President. He is a member of the World Federation of Orthodontists and the International Association of Dental Research. He has won numerous awards for his research including the Craniofacial Biology Award at the 2002 International Association of Dental Research Division meeting in Hong Kong, 1st Prize at the National University of Singapore Faculty Research Day and Best Poster Prize at the National Dental Centre Annual Scientific Meeting. His research has been published internationally and he has also presented at numerous local and international conferences.

Dr Arthur Lim practises a wide scope of Orthodontics and is skilled in a variety of techniques including lingual orthodontics and Self-ligating (Damon, Smatclip, InOvation) bracket systems. He is also a certified Invisalign provider.
